Carol Ellison Carol Ellison has been the Owner/Broker of Town & Country Associates since 1978. A native Vermonter, she has been a resident of Barre since 1972.
Carol is a Past President of the Central Vermont Board of REALTORS and the Vermont Association of REALTORS, Vermont REALTOR of the Year in 1984 and 2001, and on the Board of the National Association of REALTORS for 3 years. She is a member of the Barre Congregational Church (current Finance Committee member), member and past Director of the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce, member and past Director of the Barre Partnership and recent past President of the Central Vermont Economic Development Corporation (2 yrs.). She is currently serving on the Advisory Board of the Community National Bank.
Hobbies include golf, world travel, book club, theater, music and she loves a big Maine lobster every now and then!
Carol has two grown sons, Blake (Shirly) and Trent (Holly) and is the proud and loving Grammy to Cole, Sage, Storm and Mason.

Michelle Gosselin has been
with Town & Country Associates since 1989.
She was born, raised, and resides in Barre Vermont. In 1985 she graduated
from Spaulding High school, and went on to graduate from Champlain College in 1987.
Michelle's community involvement includes Past Ambassador of the Central
Vermont Chamber of Commerce, as well as past Chairman of the Barre City Recreation Committee,
and Barre City Bicentennial Committe. In 2003 she was President of the Central
Vermont Board of REALTORS®, and has sat on or chaired many REALTOR® committees. She is currently a member of the Vermont Real Estate Commission.
Her hobbies include: golf, horseback riding, gardening, boating, fishing,
billiards and cards, as well as spending lots of time with her two beautiful
children, Jessica and Joshua.

Nancy Gale has been
with Town & Country Associates since 1989. She has lived in Barre, Vermont since 1967. She graduated from Montpelier
High School, and is a graduate of Vermont College, 1960 & 1972 (two degrees).
Nancy was the first woman member of the Barre Kiwanis Club, and is a Past
President. She chaired Kiwanis' Annual Auction (largest fundraiser) on five
occasions. She was a member of the Barre Homecoming Days Committee, is presently a member of
Barre Congregational Church and its choir, a Trustee of Aldrich Public Library,
a 27 year member of National and Vermont Associations of REALTORS®. She was the President of the Vermont Association of REALTORS® in 2006.
Nancy Gale specializes in residential and commercial brokerage.
Nancy is married To Stephen Martin. Her hobbies include: cooking, sewing, gardening and quilting. She is an avid reader, and
enjoys her camp at Lake Groton, and spending time with her 3 children, and 5
grandchildren.

Maurice "Moe" Fortierhas been
with Town & Country Associates since 1991.
Moe is a lifetime resident of Barre, Vermont, and a 1950 graduate of Spaulding
High School. He served in the Army, and is a Korean War Veteran. Moe worked for the New England
Telephone and Telegraph for 36 years. He's a life member of Elks Club, and American Legion, and a 30
year member of Lions Club. He was a Past President, and received the Melvin Jones Foundation Award in 2003.
He is a member of Mutuo Club, and a member of Hedding Methodist Church. Moe's hobbies include:
snowmobiling, tennis, attending grandchildren's sporting events, and relaxing at his camp on Peacham
Pond with Dottie, his wife of over 50 years! They have 6 children and 7 grandchildren.

Joan Parker has been with Town and Country Associates since 2004.
She is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the Vermont Association
of REALTORS®, a current director on the board of the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce, and the secretary of the Chelsea Town Planning Commission.
Joan grew up in San Diego, California, and moved to Chelsea, Vermont in 1978. Many locals
know her as the racquetball pro at First in Fitness in Berlin for many years.
Joan graduated from San Diego State University in 1972, and went on to receive an
Elementary Teaching Credential there in 1975. For a few years before moving to Vermont
she renovated "fixer uppers" to re-sell. Joan and her husband John Parker
have two grown children. Joan's hobbies include: mountain biking, hiking,
x-country skiing,
snowshoeing, traveling, and website design.
